DAVIKANE

Victor Daniel Plasencia Flores, conocido artísticamente como Davikane, nació en Pharr, Texas. Desde temprana edad mostró inclinación hacia la música, aprendiendo saxofón y guitarra. A los 16 compuso su primera balada.

Aunque estudió Medicina y concluyó la carrera, decidió dedicarse por completo a la música. Habiendo vivido gran parte de su vida en México, encontró en la diversidad cultural del país la chispa que consolidó su identidad. Su estilo fusiona regional mexicano y tex-mex —banda, rancheras, corridos, cumbia y mariachi—, influenciado por Grupo Frontera, Intocable, Carin León y Vicente Fernández. Su proyecto nace con un propósito claro: transmitir emociones y vivencias reales, llevando la esencia mexicana más allá de las fronteras.

Victor Daniel Plasencia Flores, known artistically as Davikane, was born in Pharr, Texas. From an early age he showed a pull toward music, learning saxophone and guitar. At 16 he composed his first ballad.

Though he studied and completed a Medicine degree, he chose to devote himself fully to music. Having lived much of his life in Mexico, he found in the country's cultural diversity the spark that shaped his identity. His style fuses regional Mexican and tex-mex —banda, rancheras, corridos, cumbia and mariachi—, influenced by Grupo Frontera, Intocable, Carin León and Vicente Fernández. His project is born with a clear purpose: to convey real emotions and experiences, carrying the Mexican essence beyond borders.
